A little care and attention can go a long way towards keeping your jewellery perfect for a lifetime. Lylie’s trick is to remember the 3 P’s:

PRESERVE
Try not to store your jewellery in a bathroom or a wet room as it can tarnish the jewellery.

PROTECT
Always remember that your jewellery should be the last thing you put on when dressing and the first thing you take off when undressing. The chemicals in makeup, perfume and hair products can permanently damage jewellery.

POLISH
Gently clean your jewellery in lukewarm water with a bit of mild soap every few months. We find a child’s soft bristle toothbrush is effective when trying to remove dirt, particularly for rings with stones.
