Hallmarking has been part of the British jewellery industry since 1300. It demonstrates that a design has been independently tested, a feature that sets it apart from the continental designs.
Lylie’s has been given a specific Salvaged hallmark to acknowledge our use of recycled precious metals. It has a sun design, and it sits alongside the traditional and legally necessary 5 other hallmarks, all stamped by the Assay Office.
