Born from a bespoke project brief in which the client dreamt of perfecting the classic solitaire style, the Audley Solitaire Ring features subtle, modern details inspired by both architectural and atmospheric elements of Audley House - a traditional British estate from our designer’s childhood town. The ‘cathedral’ side-view, mirroring the house’s arched windows and hallways, and our signature ball detailing, resembling the estate’s uniform gardens, elevate the beauty of the central diamond: the star of any solitaire.MARQUISE CUT
Marquise cut diamonds have a romantic history, believed to have been created in the 18th century for King Louis XV, inspired by the lips of his lover, the Marquise de Pompadour. This unique shape combines femininity and boldness, offering a timeless yet contemporary look. When choosing a marquise cut, we opt for a length-to-width ratio close to 2.0 for a flattering silhouette and we take the upmost care to avoid stones with the “bow-tie effect,” a shadow in the centre of the diamond.SIZE
