How to use our Gold Exchange?
CALCULATE YOUR METALS’ VALUE
First of all, you will need to check the type and weight of your precious metal. If you need help reading the hallmarks, use our helpful guide here. Kitchen scales are perfect for working out the weight.
You can use our indicative calculator below to get an estimate of your metals value. The prices change daily and are set by the London Bullion Market, though we offer 7.5% above market value to incentivise recycling.

REQUEST A PRE-PAID RESUSABLE POUCH
If you would like to go ahead with your exchange, please complete the form and let us know if you prefer us to send you one of our reusable postal pouches (with a prepaid label enclosed) or a PDF of the prepaid envelope emailed to you (and you have a printer at home and some packaging to use).
Our pouches/labels are guaranteed for next day delivery, and are insured up to a value of £2,500. But please note, the pouch/package will need to be dropped in at a post office.
POST YOUR METALS
Please scan the QR code included in the pouch or use the link on the email, to follow the simple steps to how we ask you to pack it up. It includes taking a picture of the metal you are exchanging. In our experience, it is much easier to have a record that we can check upon arrival.
The reusable pouches / labels are free of charge provided you are sending us at least £250 of precious metal for exchange. If the parcel value is below that, we will just deduct the price from your credit note before emailing it over.
RECEIVE CREDIT
On the day your parcel arrives with us, it will be assessed by our skilled staff and a credit note will be created and emailed to you.
The only exception to this is if the metal is not hallmarked, in which case it may need to be sent to our workshop for x-ray testing. We will update you via email if this is the case. It can take an additional 7-10 working days.
Please note, the exact price we offer changes on a daily basis and can fluctuate (increase or decrease) from our calculator above. It is fixed on the day we received the metal.

Can I recycle jewellery containing gemstones?
Do you give credit for gemstones or can I get them returned?
Alternatively, once we have inspected and tested the stones to see what they are and what their quality is like, we may offer to buy them from you as part of our recycled antique stones collection or we can return them.
