A little care and attention can go a long way towards keeping your jewellery fine for a lifetime. Our trick is to remember the 3 P’s:

  • PRESERVE

Try not to store your jewellery in a bathroom as the moisture can tarnish the jewellery. Avoid wearing your jewellery during physical work such as gardening, sports or swimming.

  • PROTECT

Always remember that your jewellery should be the last thing you put on when dressing and the first thing you take off when undressing. The chemicals in makeup, perfume and hair products can permanently damage jewellery.

  • POLISH

Gently clean your jewellery in lukewarm water with a bit of mild soap every few months. We find a child’s soft bristle toothbrush is effective when trying to remove dirt, particularly for rings with stones.

Conscious consuming is about being 100% sure. If you're not, send it straight back within 10 days. Details here.

DETAILS

Three clouds of man-made diamonds trickle softly along a delicate chain. The necklace is inspired by the Hyades, the spherical group of stars named after the sisterhood of nymphs that brought rain in Greek mythology.

The gold clouds are bezel-set with a sprinkling of three man-made brilliant-cut diamonds, a-fixed within a delicate 17.5’’ trace chain. The necklaces total carat weight is 0.04ct, and it has spacers at 15’’ and 16’’, to give the wearer versatility.

Our Rainmaking Necklace was designed to compliment the Rain Dance Bracelet. It bears Lylie’s signature Salvaged Hallmark, indicating it is made from 100% recycled precious metals and has been handmade in the UK. The man-made diamonds were sourced from Antwerp.

Care

A little care and attention can go a long way towards keeping your jewellery fine for a lifetime. Lylie’s trick is to remember the 3 P’s:

  • PRESERVE

Try not to store your jewellery in a bathroom or a wet room as it can tarnish the jewellery. Avoid wearing your jewellery during physical work such as gardening, sports or swimming (particularly chlorinated swimming pools).

  • PROTECT

Always remember that your jewellery should be the last thing you put on when dressing and the first thing you take off when undressing. The chemicals in makeup, perfume and hair products can permanently damage jewellery.

  • POLISH

Store your jewellery pieces in fabric lined boxes or pouches to avoid scratches and chain knots. Gently clean your jewellery in lukewarm water with a bit of mild soap every few months. We find a child’s soft bristle toothbrush is effective when trying to remove dirt, particularly for rings with stones.
