EMERALD CUT

This design includes 2.5cts. total, made up of one aprox. 2cts octagonal step-cut or emerald-cut central stone set in the centre of a pair of 0.5cts total trillion-cut stones.

DESIGN STORY

Inspired by the iconic transition in Renaissance Italy from plain Roman jewellery to richly coloured, dazzling jewels and complexly structured designs, the Vita Trilogy Ring is fashioned for a bride with a flare for luxury, antique, European styles. Retaining the traditional symbolism of engagement rings in Renaissance weddings, the signature petite ball-detailing represents unbroken unity, promising an enduring ‘vita’ (Latin for ‘life’) for its wearer’s love.

SELECTING THE STONES

We can source a range of octagonal step-cut or emerald-cut ethical diamonds or sapphires to suit the style, colour preference (with choices ranging from pink through to deep blue in sapphires), and budget. Both recycled-antique and lab-grown diamonds are also possible with this design and are likewise sourced depending on style and budget.

MADE TO ORDER

To give our gemologist time to source your stone and our team of skilled goldsmiths time to handcraft your engagement ring, please allow 2-4 weeks for your order to be handmade and delivered.

The dimensions for each ring vary based on the stone size(s), the ring finger size, and the ring’s distinct, handmade features. Here is an example of a ring size based on a central emerald-cut stone of 2.5ct:

Choosing the right ring size can be a little difficult, whether it's for yourseful, a partner or a friend. To make things easy, just follow our tips:

Use an existing ring

Download the app 'Ring Sizer'. Place your phone on a flat surface and your existing ring on the screen. It will tell you the exact size.

Measuring your finger

You can purchase an accurate plastic ring sizer from on the web-site here which will be posted first class to you. If you opt to measure your ring finger using one, there are a few things to be aware of:

  • Your fingers will change size slightly throughout the day. Physical activity and temperature all have an effect

  • Don't measure your ring size whilst your hands are cold, as your fingers can be half a size smaller at this time.

  • A ring with a wider band will feel a little tigther than a very fine ring. Lylie's would recommend buying a size larger than your usual size for such designs
