Learn MoreLylie's are committed to creating pieces within a circular business model, made with care to have a minimal impact on the environment.

A little care and attention can go a long way towards keeping your jewellery fine for a lifetime. Our trick is to remember the 3 P’s:
PRESERVE
Try not to store your jewellery in a bathroom as the moisture can tarnish the jewellery. Avoid wearing your jewellery during physical work such as gardening, sports or swimming.
PROTECT
Always remember that your jewellery should be the last thing you put on when dressing and the first thing you take off when undressing. The chemicals in makeup, perfume and hair products can permanently damage jewellery.
POLISH
Gently clean your jewellery in lukewarm water with a bit of mild soap every few months. We find a child’s soft bristle toothbrush is effective when trying to remove dirt, particularly for rings with stones.
Conscious consuming is about being 100% sure. If you're not, send it straight back within 10 days. Details here.
DETAILS
The Thames has been a willing recipient of broken hearts, discarded dreams, and lost treasure, cast in or deposited by the tides. This ring was inspired by Elizabethan jewellery and imagined to have one belonged to a noble lady. Proudly handmade in the UK from salvaged gold and cabochon marquise-cut gemstones. If you have a particular stone in mind which is not listed, please don't hesitate to get in touch as we can create a personalised one for you.

A little care and attention can go a long way towards keeping your jewellery fine for a lifetime. Lylie’s trick is to remember the 3 P’s:
PRESERVE
Try not to store your jewellery in a bathroom or a wet room as it can tarnish the jewellery. Avoid wearing your jewellery during physical work such as gardening, sports or swimming (particularly chlorinated swimming pools).
PROTECT
Always remember that your jewellery should be the last thing you put on when dressing and the first thing you take off when undressing. The chemicals in makeup, perfume and hair products can permanently damage jewellery.
POLISH
Store your jewellery pieces in fabric lined boxes or pouches to avoid scratches and chain knots. Gently clean your jewellery in lukewarm water with a bit of mild soap every few months.
