DETAILS 
In heraldry, a lion is symbolic of courage, nobility and strength, making us think that this was once a medieval knight's crest with its depiction of a lion prancing through the foliage. When we discovered it by metal detector, its gold gilt was still visible. A date, monogram or initials can be engraved discreetly on the underside of this pendant.
